Association Evolution d’Haïti (EVOH) played a key role during the 10th edition of the Haitian Book Fair, an event organized by the Haïti Futur association. This celebration of Haitian literature took place at the town hall of the 15th arrondissement of Paris on December 2 and 3, 2023, with renowned writer Lyonel Trouillot as guest of honor.
During this event, EVOH presented and offered for sale artistic puzzles that pay tribute to the beauty of Haiti. Furthermore, the association seized the opportunity to organize the final round of its online competition, a quiz on Haitian literature, which was held from November 11 to 26, 2023, on the website litterature.haitijeconnais.com. Participants competed to win 200 euros and a collection of books by Haitian writers for the first prize, as well as a selection of books for the second prize. This fair offered a wonderful opportunity for literature enthusiasts to discover and celebrate Haitian literary talent and to engage in stimulating cultural activities. Our congratulations to the lucky winners (1st prize: Mr. Kermens Semervil / 2nd prize: Stephan Denis) and to everyone who contributed to making this event an unforgettable moment.
